Michell offers a binary gas analyzer and two ranges of oxygen analyzers, designed to increase safety and improve efficiency for applications such as air separation, combustion control, blanket gas monitoring for chemical & pharmaceutical reactors, refineries and many more. We use non-depleting measurement technologies; Thermo-paramagnetic, Thermal Conductivity and Zirconium Oxide, to ensure long-term reliability and low-cost of ownership.

The XTP601 series uses an innovative Thermo-Paramagnetic oxygen sensor for high accuracy and reliability in industrial applications. Housed in an IP66 weather-proof/explosion-proof case for maximum flexibility of installation, it is available in hazardous area or general purpose configurations and is suitable for measurement of ranges from 0-1% up to 0-50% and 20-100% up to 90-100% oxygen.

The XTC601 Thermal Conductivity Analyzer utilises the same case and HMI as the XTP601, but measures a range of Target Gases in a binary or pseudo-binary gas mix. The core technology is based on Thermal Conductivity principles.

The XZR range uses our metallic sealed reference sensor (MSRS) Zirconium Oxide technology for accurate and repeatable oxygen measurement, without the need for a reference air supply. The XZR400 is designed for detecting trace oxygen in clean gases while the XZR500 is designed to measure percentage levels of O2 in flue gas. We also have the XZR200 (COIPZR) for package boilers and smaller processes with lower temperatures and less harsh environments.

The XZR500 oxygen analyzer from Michell Instruments is designed to determine the excess air required for optimum combustion. It uses MSRS Zirconium Oxide technology to measure levels of oxygen in harsh conditions such as boilers, incinerators and furnaces, providing fast, accurate readings in high temperatures and corrosive atmospheres. The Pitot-effect sample probe negates the need for aspirator air in most applications.
XZR400 Series XZR400 Series
The XZR400 oxygen analyzer measures trace oxygen in pure gases. It is used to control the purity of gases such as Nitrogen, Argon, Helium and Carbon Dioxide during manufacture, quality in air separation plants, or for quality assessement of bought gases. It is available in wall-mountable and rack-mountable versions, both suited to a range of applications.
