Michell acquires Coreci relative humidity
business |
|
We are proud to announce that today,
Wednesday, 1st October 2008, Michell acquired the relative humidity business of
the Italian Control and Automation company, Gefran SPA.
Originally the
business, located in Lyon, France, was known as Coreci S.A. It was taken over
by Gefran in 1998. For 25 years, Coreci has been a major force in the relative
humidity market, with a reputation for high quality relative humidity sensors
and advanced electronics. The Coreci operation will continue to operate and
develop in Lyon as a division of Michell SARL, (Paris, France).
This
acquisition strengthens Michell’s position as a leader in the field of
humidity and moisture sensing and, in combination with the technologies and
strengths of our sister company Rense Instruments, will enable us to offer the
widest range of competitively priced relative humidity products with high
performance specification. Look out for the Coreci products appearing on our
web site very soon.
