With Michell's unique Service Exchange program it is now possible for our customers to replace an in-use moisture sensor with a freshly calibrated sensor, very cost effectively and with virtually no downtime. To use this program, before the recalibration of a in-use sensor is due, the customer orders a Service Exchange Sensor from Michell Instruments or one of our local representatives. When received at the customer's site, the in-use sensor is removed and replaced with the Service Exchange Sensor. The previously in-use sensor is then returned to Michell Instruments for credit. The exchange is fast, efficient and economical.

As an added bonus, with Michell moisture sensors all calibration data is preprogrammed and stored within the sensor module, so the need to reprogram calibration data into an analyzer electronics is eliminated along with the potential for manual data entry error. Each Exchange Sensor has a traceable calibration certificate as standard, just like the original. Using this program, a traceable, newly calibrated sensor exchange is achieved with a minimum of cost, downtime and disruption. |
