Michell Delivers Accurate Relative Humidity and Temperature Measurement for Harsh Environments

Rowley, MA: Continuous and reliable RH measurements are difficult to produce in harsh environments as the conditions degrade the sensors and equipment over time. The Michell Instruments’ DT722 RH and temperature transmitter provides a cost effective solution to this problem.

The Michell DT722 RH transmitter has been designed for use in severe industrial environments. It is exceptionally reliable and robust with a strong, stainless steel housing providing protection against rough handling or accidental damage, IP65 (NEMA 4) ingress protection and a probe which can withstand temperatures up to 150°C. The transmitter has excellent chemical resistance for longer use in contaminated areas and is available with a selection of filter materials to afford best protection to the sensors based on specific environmental conditions.

The DT722 is available in digital and analogue models. The digital electronic platform gives high performance measurement with excellent RH accuracy and delivers reliable, consistent and accurate results in ambient conditions. The analogue device offers exceptional mechanical toughness. Field adjustment is remarkably quick and easy, making it a good choice for use in all types of aftermarket service and a robust favorite with the nuclear industry.

Every Michell instrument is delivered fully calibrated and traceable to National Standards. Michell maintains direct traceability to NIST through a UKAS accredited Humidity Calibration Laboratory. This satisfies the most stringent quality system requirements and gives ultimate confidence in the measurement being made.
