The operators wanted to reduce the costs and maintenance time for their hydrogen-cooled electricity generators. As this could take up to 3 months, a stock of spare sensors was needed to ensure the process could be kept running continuously. The high cost of the necessary stock of backup moisture transmitters greatly increased their overhead.
They selected Michell’s Easidew PRO I.S. dew point transmitters, as an alternative to their usual supplier.
