Michell is one of the global market leaders for moisture and humidity sensing equipment. They manufacture most of the instruments at their site in Ely and also have offices in Holland, Germany, France, USA, Italy, Japan and China.
‘It’s an exciting time to join Michell,’ says CEO Mike Bannister, ‘Our recent growth means that there are plenty of opportunities for staff to develop their careers – and themselves – within the company. Having many colleagues abroad also makes it an interesting and dynamic place to work.’
The open day, which will run from 10am to 4pm, will be a chance for local people to come along, have a tour round the factory, talk to staff at work and find out about possible careers and training opportunities with Michell.
As well as members of Michell staff, there will be representatives from the West Anglia Training Association to answer questions about apprenticeships. Information on higher education and professional development will be on hand from Anglia Ruskin University.
