Michell Instruments, leading manufacturer of moisture and relative humidity sensors and gas analyzers, will be show-casing its range of precision instruments at Instrumentation Scotland on stand number 604.
Visit the stand for a demonstration of the MDM300, Michell’s smallest and fastest portable dew-point hygrometer. At just 21cm by 17cm, weighing 1.5kg, and with a battery life of up to 48 hours typical usage, it enables the user to take field moisture measurements with the minimum of fuss.
The MDM300 also has an innovative ergonomic design, with all the buttons easily accessible while the instrument is held comfortably in both hands. All measurement parameters are available at the touch of a button and the password-protected set-up menu is simple to navigate and intuitive to use. Both instrument set-up and downloading of logged data are easy with a Bluetooth connection that comes as standard.
Other key products to look out for at the show include the S8000 Integrale. Using the cooled-mirror measurement principle, the S8000 offers a wide measurement range and fast response time coupled with easy portability for accurate field or calibration measurements. As with the complete chilled-mirror range, the S8000 offers stable and accurate measurements over a long period of time.
Michell’s range of impedance hygrometers are rugged, low-cost, industrial measurement instruments that give reliable moisture analysis from trace levels to ambient air conditions, and use the advanced ceramic moisture sensor technology. These sensors are designed to give fast responses to changes in moisture levels, making the instruments ideal for monitoring a variety of processes. For environmental control and HVAC applications, Michell also offer a variety of relative humidity and temperature sensors and transmitters.
The Dark Spot Principle utilised by Michell’s Condumax II hydrocarbon dew point analyser is radically different from that of any other chilled mirror instrument. Designed specifically for the petrochemical industry, the Condumax II measures the dew point of hydrocarbons in natural gas, rather than moisture. These instruments have helped save the industry millions of dollars in down-time and repairs by prolonging the life of equipment – as well as helping increase the quality of gas at custody transfer.
